CB Transmit not working 85 LTD

85 LTD push to talk. TX comes on, no transmit. My hlmets headset work in other peoples bikes and I can transmit fine so I know it isn't in the headset. Jeff from Sierra electronics checked the CB and said it was fine. He mentioned it could be the "voice modulator". It is a box in the forward part of the fairing compartment. He felt it click (he came out to check it at wing ding 33).
Has anybody had this experience and if so, what was the fix? It is a honda CB.

I forgot to mention that I can hear other people transmit so at least I can join in on the lane change moves and not look out of place. I just have to figure what the problem is that I can't transmit. I may have to take the CB and the voice modulator out together and send them both in to Sierra Electronics to be tested together.
The 85 LTD is a very unique machine to be sure. The wiring is like a spaghetti factory. I had the seat off and the false tank, along with the side pockets. WOW! Amazing!

Sierra Electronics fixed it. Replace a couple of bad parts.
