Cleaning gas tank

I'm preparing myself for an ass whippin but I'm gonna ask.is there a way to derust a tank while the tank is in the bike.if not,ill take my whippin

Think I answered my question.evaporust is non-corrosive and non flammable,which means I can pump it out with my spare electric fuel pump
