compressor/ inside leak

no,, i haven't took it apart yet,, just heard air leaking back through it sumwhere,,, according to the gauge, im maintaining pressure over time,, but i know sumthing's wrong in there

Maybe dirty/worn check valve?

I'd first pump them up high then spray the lines with soap solution. Might find a leak or the shocks could be leaking?

specifically heard it coming from the compressor,, thought i did soap it that day,, shop was quiet,, was a very small leak,,maybe doesn't do it all the time,, i'll have to check it out,,.. thanx
