He's trying to position himself as the last word in this mod and by following his postings closely over there it's obvious that he piggy backs on to others successes and words his posts like he thought of it first and is the only authority over it.
That 100+ page thread alone is him taking advantage of West's and our efforts.
He is doing this in such a way that he's also misleading others. I believe he's doing this and confusing others to position himself for future marketing as others throw up their hands in disgust because they couldn't get theirs to run right and so confused that they never can or willing to try any more with SO MANY different types of builds.
But he supposedly has got it all figured out, which is a lie.
An enlightening thread was deleted over there in which he sold 6-7 complete systems.
One guy demanded a refund for broken welds.
Others got wind of this and wanted refunds also.
They tried many times to contact CM for refund over the course of months with no reply.
He too then cleverly worded his posts to make himself look like the good guy and Saunders forum backed him up.
He talks of 'chokes' or 'venturi's' in the runners.
One guy that bought one posted the runners have nothing like this in them.
Another lie.
He pisses me off to no end.
What gets me the most is that this IS a worthwhile mod and worth pursuing.
I am at the point where idle is getting smoother by doing some specific mods that Weber recommends.
It's becoming apparent why others have had so much trouble getting a good idle below 1000 rpm.
Joe and I have been working on something but I want to dial it in better before posting it.
