I have not been a real fan of the newer Honda's. But I do kinda like the CTX 1300 a bit. Just don't like the fact that the windshield is short and no backrest.

But here is a pic of someone's modified CTX with a taller windshield and he added backrests (which I have found are absolutely needed for me to ride):

I think I could possibly consider towing my trailer behind that bike!

If you can't afford a C5 you are way beyond buying that. However it does look nice for one of the new bikes.

:smilie_happy: Yep, just dreamin!

Yea no new scooter in the income bracket I'm in. Noticed this one a while back, reminds me of a 1200 wing sort of, funny how smaller is now in style.

I stopped at the dealer Saturday looking for a used st1300, they had a red ctx1300 on the showroom floor. while I don't care for the looks i'll say the look better in person then in pic's

went to the open house at the other dealer today and saw a guy riding off on a black ctx 1300, still don't like the looks and that feet forward riding position doesn't look very comfortable but I didn't go there to look at no stinkin ctx I went to look at an st 1300

The St1300 seems more like the proper evolution of the goldwing than the 1800, imho.
One of my local dealers has a nice one right now for $6k. Kinda tempting........

Sts are great sports/tourers :good:
I'm probably going to buy one in the next two years but the 1500 wing will stay in the stable, the 1200 wing I'm not sure if i'll keep it

Sounds like a good plan William, it might be nice to have an 84 standard as well. :good:

Don't sell too quick may live to regret it. Won't get near as much as you have in it if you take good care of it, & can't replace it with a like bike for what you sold it for.

the 1200 wing would be sold to my niece, she really wants a 1200 wng. I really don't ride it enough because its so to similar to the 1500 wing and the 1500 wing fits me better, I'm more comfortable on it
