Democratic debate, what a yawner

For those that have seen every other Dem debate it was exactly like the previous, soft question full of promises and platitudes. I guess if you just became of voting age recently and never heard this stuff you might be moved but it was exactly like every other Dem debate..free college , free health care,amnesty,black lives matter,tax the rich, global warming,green energy,raise min. wage, equal pay
The only one with enough balls to say how they could do it was Bernie Sanders..There was one guy (I forget who) mentioned Nuclear power as the answer to green energy, was happy to hear common sense for a few seconds.
Ted Cruz can slaughter any of these pinheads, Trump could too if he could hold his ego in check and do some research on the subjects..Fun times ahead.

What most don't understand is equal pay and equal rights and equality is achieved when we all have nothing. And all energy is "green". Every source of energy is renewable. We were supposed to run out of fossil fuel almost two decades ago according to what I was taught back in screwel. We now have more than ever. We'll never run out of atoms for nuclear plants but wed may run out of storage for the byproducts. There is always sun wind and water somewhere.
Compared to these fools JFK would be running as a conservative today alongside Trump. Politics was never supposed to be a career and neither was any public service office. Strange how the tough questions are never asked of the democrat . That alone speaks volumes.

Well said Slab..Actually the new design molten salt reactors can use the nuclear waste we are now storing, we could literally clean up our storage and at the same time make energy, melt down is eliminated with low levels of reaction and no need for water cooling and what reaction happens can easy be contained in the reaction chamber..If we can only get over the word, when spoken all the media harkens back to Fukushima, Chernobyl,3 mile Island etc.
The only drawback so far is the scale, salt reactors can only power a small size city, maybe 30K homes..could be way past that now, been a few years since I read about it.

Molten salt reactors sounds like the perfect tech for california. You got plenty of salt water and the freshwater hydroelectric is running low as well as the entire water table.
