In that case check your local ebay for complete 1100 or 1000 heads. Either will fit and 1100 heads will have the valves you want for your heads.

Holy smokes! I just checked on ebay. They are selling for more than I used to spend on complete heads. I'd just buy these and be sure they are flat before installing them.

These heads(first ones) had nice combustion when pulled, so rare usually they had a head gasket blow or carbs totally out of sync.
 
Valves are the same size, but I think 83 year had a flat-faced intake valve while the others were dished. Shouldn't matter, but might give slightly higher compression if it's the flat-faced style. You may not have much choice. Partsnmore from Canada still lists them, but when click to purchase they inform you they're out of stock.
