Does the antenna tip come off?

If it is just a radio antenna, no problem with cutting it to remove it if you cannot turn it to remove it. If it is for a cb and you use the cb, cutting it could cause a problem with tuning the cb correctly.
 
Thanks guys, not wanting to cut anything, if it is crimped on I`ll find another way to mount..didn't know if it was a threaded piece or pressed on but it is tight.
I`ll get a small wood dowel and run it through the flag`s end then attach it to the lower part of the antenna somehow.

A couple zip ties to the mast, done deal.
Yea, that's what I`m thinking, one long one through the seam and two others one top and one bottom, zips are light and hard to break.
 
Boy wind sure does tear up a flag, denim thick Made in USA flag went for a ride to the store and gas station and already ends are fraying..maybe another mounting location where there isn't so much turbulence.
 
Save the nice flag and just get a cheap nylon car flag at Ollies or other discount store. The kind you close the window on are on thick plastic rods so may fit over the antennae tip.
