Fear of heights?

I have a backup TV tower that is 30 ‘ tall. I can climb to the top but there’s no way to do any work when I get there because I have this overwhelming urge to hang on with both hands... :beg:

On the other hand I have flown a hang glider from the top of Lookout Mountain (1300' down to the Landing zone) go figure. :headscratch:

Joe, I live in Jackson about 100 miles East of Cincinnati on SR 32. A get together sounds good to me. Whatever happens, I want to ride over sometime and see that dog house, an amazing project for one man to take on.

:Doh2:  There! I told you. Probably best if you don't lift anything below your waist level for a while. Been there done that. Not fun.

Been there and done that Joe.... and it is so hard to change how you do things that you have done all your life. But.... sometimes you just have to. . . . hope your better soon , take it easy my friend. :music:

Hey Joe really sorry to hear about your setback. I’ve been away from the forum for a while, take it easy and will be praying for you.

Speaking of heights, I love them, the higher the better. Did some skydiving many years ago but wife said it was skydiving or her, and of course she won.

As a mechanic I have had a couple bouts with back pain and issues and man I know how much it hurts. Please take care of yourself.
