After the Brisbane flooding in May we decided it was time to do some seriouse upgrades to the DD ( eg through lots of money into dirt). A mate had purchased a low hours 5 ton Komatsu zero swing excavator which came with 3 good buckets and a rock pick ($45k aud) to do some work on his property and pick up some work on the side.
32 hours later and hopefully we have a driveway that will have less issues in the future down pours.
Rubble drain across the driveway to eliminate this

gee wizz did the little bike fall over ......come on tony ...you seem to handle the hard road well .... lol ...hers a little mud in your eye  keep the bike up and dont spill the beer :hihihi:

While the work was being done on the DD it was too rough to ride a bike on and there was also some rain that made it really slippery. The only option was to load up Red for a safe trip down the driveway.

Still haven't washed the mud off my Forester yet and it has been driven around is some rain since getting muddy

The older a man gets, the bigger and better his toys become. We all just want to return to a sandbox and our youth.

Looks like the truck driver used up every inch of space he could to get that turned around.

Looks like some neat country you live in Tony. Hope I get to visit some day.
+1!

Be careful with that Forester! Much more dirt on it, things will start growing, and it will be just a Forest!

You are right Brian, I edited the video to speed it up where he had to do three bites to get the truck all the way around. He wanted to know how far out to the edge he could go and I suggested that he keep to the grass and not go out into the creeper and the unknown. I also had to make sure the delivery was later in the day so that the dew ( and any light showers ) had dried so that the grass wasn't too slippery
