Is their an alternative exhaust gasket that can be used on the gl1000 were the header meets the head that can be bought at the typical auto parts store instead of buying the overpriced Honda or cheap composite gaskets and have to wait a week for them to get delivered

For the number of times you will remove the header, the inexpensive off-shore exhaust gasket will work well. Just make sure that you remove all the old ones.

Has nothing to do with the cheap or the offshore gaskets I just don't want to wait for them to come in the mail for a week

I have two of the "flexatalic" style left. I will be ordering more soon for the '75. You can have these two if that is all you need.

It's ok I was just wondering if their was a common car gasket that might work to save waiting lol

I've never seen this style on a car. Glad I saw your post, though. Prompted me to get a couple sets on order. I'll be starting on the '75 (and pulling the engine guards off) as soon as I can sell the Triumph.
