On my 83 gl 1100 im not going with the fairing on it so I have to put a headlamp on well the fairing weight is on still and I noticed a bunch of the wiring is behind it can I take it off? If so how can I hide that wiring?
One other thing, before you do any modifications I would get it running first, headlight high/low on,turn signals working, brake and front running lights, horn ect. then take it back apart to do the wire modifications/cutting. Pull back enough of the loom sheathing exposing enough of the wires you plan to cut and cut them slightly staggered so once your wrap it back up they cant touch or interfere with each other.[url=https://www.classicgoldwings.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=114002#p114002:32g1aqfw said:j.man » Fri Apr 04, 2014 11:00 am[/url]":32g1aqfw]
Cool. That works cause when I tare the bike down this winter I want to make it to were the only wiring on it is for the lights and the engine. Nomore than whats needed to go down the road anyway.
