11 years ago I sold a 1200 with a custom made 2 person side car for $6500 on ebay. . recieved a certified cheque for it. ( before Pay pal ) local trucking company picked it up 3 weeks later after I made sire the cheque cleared. then 3 months later my banker walked in my gas station and said the cheque was fake and I owed them $6500 plus interest. tryed fighting this in court 3 times and lost. ended u costing me over $10,000 I posted this on GWRRA web site and within 2 months ,recieved over 120 letters with cash and cheques for over $3000 in it to help me with my loss. I suggested that we all meet to put a face to a name and now we meet every August in Nebraska for our annual GPR ( Great Plains Rally). so giving away what I can to help out. the second year we met I had bought a non running 1100 from Ontario and 5 of the guys relayed it to nebraska the next few months. and I asked the fellow at Nebraska to lean it aganist a tree and I would come haul it home the next August. turned out he stripped it to the frame and rebuilt it the best he could with a few parts he hornswoggled out of me.
I took a bus down and rode the 1100 home, and next yr rode it back with my coke trailer. and now go back evey yr to meet with my new found friends. here is the 1100 with my coke trailer in 2005

Really great story in the end :good:
It always amazes me how the banks never lose even when they should :(

the strange part is. here in Alberta ,all the banks have signs on there walls. your deposits are all Insured? the rat basturd lawyer for the credit union said they have a $5000 deductable. so wouldnt be worth it. I dealt there since 1974, savings accounts. RRSPs. Mortgages. business ,, they took enough money from my various accounts without asking and I pulled my business. and so did a few dozen friends. but the banks dont care..

Steve, the 1200 parts are in the mail. tracking no.CX501551105CA it was $43.62 plus roll of boxing tape and roll of duct tape? and my wifes colorful motorcycle vest she hasnt worn in years that I used to wrap the parts in? LOL enjoy em..

Ken, the only footpeg I have is from an '83 1100, right side. The floorboards are going on a project that didn't have any. The one I have is yours if you want it...
