Exactly what do you need to know..as I described above that's the process. It requires grinding off the top of the rivet that holds the to plate in place, removing the top plate and diaphragm, them you have to set the pump up in a drill press..I used some blocks of wood to rest it on so it could stand upright in the press, then drill out the shaft and tap it, then place the new gasket on the pump and mark the holes then punch or drill new holes in the rubber, put it on the pump then the top plate and your new bolt/washer into the shaft to hold it all together..maybe a little sealer on the bolt..and then button it up..that's it.
The only hard part I found was holding the shaft so it didn't spin in the drill press and I used some needle nose pliers clamped on it so I could stead it and that worked well.
