Does anyone recall where to find the ''how to'' article on replacing the old style fuse block with the new blade style unit? I recall that it was small, neat and fit right in the same spot as the stocker.
My glass fuse block is original, clean and working. I do like the new fuse blocks, but old reliable has been working like a champ! I suppose the main issue for the old glass fuse block is to be sure the tangs are clean and not corroded.[url=https://www.classicgoldwings.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=112304#p112304:tt4xp5ha said:Ansimp » Wed Mar 12, 2014 1:05 am[/url]":tt4xp5ha]
Nothing wrong with glass fuses just make sure that they are the externally soldered style ( you can see the wire coming out the end). The fuse block can need replacing when the clips loose spring tension. In my opinion the blade type fuse blocks fail sooner but they do look prettier...
