General brake question

Apple, I did not mean to be a wiseguy, I was trying to be helpful to those folks that may have a problem with adjusting they disc brakes, I did NOT mean to offend anyone with their knowledge.

'84 - '88 Ranger or Bronco II should all be the same. Maybe '89 and newer, and maybe early Explorers...

I miss my Ranger! It had a short life (11,000 miles), and a sad death! But - I was able to walk away with only a broken clavicle. 70 - 0 MPH in only 8 flips!

Sounds like someone was trying to do a brake flush in the beginning to the pilot. If so, and air was introduced into the hose at the brake caliper (very easy to do) or, was going to put on pads and opened the bleeder you can let air into the system then as it is very easy to do. Now, if there is an air pocket in the ABS valve, this presents a problem, but not unsolvable.

First, we need to know exactly what repair or what was being done, what the original problem was before it was touched by the person trying to work on it. This always helps when trying to help someone figure out the next step they need to take.
