I worked my tail off on it, all that sanding man... Rainy day's really set me back, I set up a easy up in the garage with sides, I placed several moving blankets down on the floor and made myself a paint station, Chas. you being a painter could appreciate that I'm sure, too cold though man, I placed a space heater in the easy up, nice and warm in there...I would paint a part then bring it in to dry well, sand it and repaint several times, what a pain, next paintjob will be in 70 degree weather for sure.. Geez I guess now I need to repaint my trailer.. :smilie_happy:

Yes, Sledge is the man that inspired me to go with those colors, I let him know that I liked his bike so much I wanted to paint mine something like it, his bike is awesome with the air brush work, that guy rocks man... :music:

Thank you guy's, it took long enough, and I'm still not done, still gonna clear some more, paint some engine parts. I need a new sticker for the front windshield...

Thank's Sledge Man, your the one guy that really impressed the heck out of me, I love your bike and how you painted it and the idea you would share your experience with me, freakin awesome man, Big Country too, his bike and paint job is way cool, you guys are very talented and awesome painters .. Thanks Gary and everyone else, yep it took a great deal of work and time and patience, [drying time] not being able to ride on 75 degree days was killing me..I saw a youtube video of a young man putting 6" speakers up front, that's quite possibly my next project.. and painting the trailer to match the bike.. :smilie_happy: I'll get better photo's later, I want one with the Alamo in the background, One of a Kind Photo. Just an idea.. Oh my wife is just thrilled that all the pieces to the bike are finally off the dining table and out of the living room..ha ha.... :smilie_happy: Check it out here's what's cool you have painted all of these parts and pieces a different color, you have an idea what it will look like on the bike but your unsure, I got a major rush, putting the pieces back on one piece at a time, major rush, like catching a big fish rush, because this is something that you did yourself...It's a Classic it's a Goldwing Classic...I love these bike's man... and this site too, Can help it.. :Egyptian:

Your right it really does match doesn't it, the faring went really good, oh for anyone that removes the vent panel on the faring, it's a bugger getting it back in place correctly until you figure a way to get it in the first time everytime, I did come up with a great solution, but first I will tell you what exactly happens when you are trying to get it into the rubber seal, the seal keeps poping back into the hole and its a real pain...Solution is this get a little soap and water and wet the rubber and the back of the vent, place in the right side of the vent first and slowly start to push on it when you almost have it closed on the opposite end get a small flathead screwdriver and pin that rubber seal down in place right at the edge of it so it can't move, right in the center and push it in, it should go in with no problem the first time everytime otherwise your gonna have a time with it poping in...I hope this helps someone and saves the some time...

I just wanted to make you guy's proud of me that's all, and the guy's on the other sites too..I havn't posted at the NGW site because, Well, I don't have a naked wing...Here's my favorite photo, I need to get some chrome valve covers I think...Don't you.?..I took some photo's and put them in the photo album today..I know I can polish them but the chrome ones are just plain shiney.. Hope you like it..

She's a beauty beav!

The covers buffed to a shine look pretty darn sharp too.
I think I would do that instead of using the chrome covers.
I've read since they are thinner they're more prone to leaking oil.

I wanted to make sledge proud Dan, I like that guy....I'm computer challenged I must say, can you please add a photo with a right view to the rotating thingy above, you guy's know exactly what to do and of course remove the grey one, I wanted to put one for a avitar but I can't figure out how to reduce the size of the photo, if there's a way you can choose anyone you guy's want and use in the avitar..Thanks Dan...I'm gonna polish the covers instead, thanks for the advise..
