Hi all,
Since retirement I have been involved in rescuing abandoned & forgotten motorcycles. I would accomplish needed repairs, ride them for a while then when deemed safe & dependable, move them on to new owners. Between rescues, I build a few choppers. Much fun.
My latest project is a '75 GL1000. It was abandoned at 21K miles with a snapped timing belt & bent valves. That issue repaired I am in the "riding" process & discovering numerous other issues. I can use some help on them.
I also maintain a Ebay account at motorcycleyellow1100 where I've been selling all my excess parts from other rescues & builds.
I look forward to helping where I can & your advice.
