Folks, we sold our 1982 GL1100 Standard back in 2021 and it is time to get rid of the remaining parts I have collected. The bike was known as the "Slug" and we sure had a great time resurrecting her from a barn find, non-running (blown engine), out in the weather pile of rust to a bike I put over 76,000 miles on over a 14 year period. Some of the parts are items that came off the bike as I upgraded, purchased for spares or acquired when we came across an '81 1100 Standard that we fixed and flipped. I will be posting pictures as individual posts below. 1st up are brake parts. 2 good sets of 1982 front rotors. Both sets are above the 4MM limit. These are for the 1982 model only! They will not work with the single caliper 1980/1981 GL1100 or for Aspy's which used vented rotors. I pulled my rotors because I got a great deal on a machined set of front rotors that were powder coated gold (as seen in the pictures above). I also have one 1982 rear rotor.
