Had a discussion with my brother regarding motorcycle conversions to a trike. His insurance broker mentioned that its insurance company will only insure the front half of the trike, the OEM portion and that to insure the trike portion it has to be a "rider" on the policy. He was informed that this is because the insurance premiums are based on the motorcycle as it came from the OEM factory. Interesting did bit. For any readers, this is in Canada. Other insurance brokers may have different policies. A question that may need to be asked. Cheers
