With the new ride your picture taking will have to change. According to the guys down here in Texas, the only place a BMW adv is seen is in front of a Starbucks :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: So I guess we'll be seeing more of those?
if I were still driving BIG TRUCKS I would have something like a Suzuki DR650 with a larger aftermarket gas tank on my catwalk":1o0fmmdt]
Fun looking bike! That bike is cloned by the Chinese via whom ever makes the California Scooter companies version. I was interested in getting one to take out OTR on my truck with me but heard that they were no where even remotely the quality of the true BMW adventure bikes, on a truckers salary can't buy bikes and pay rent on a house, or I would have the BMW version on my catwalk right now.

Outstanding ride. Excellent murals. Glad you're getting some final days in the saddle.
Sorry if I already asked this, but do you just happen to stumble onto the murals, or do you research and seek them out? They are amazing.
we have an area called " the eastern market " it's a farmers market but there are a ton of murals there and they add new murals every few years, others I just stumble across. cousinjeff lives about ten miles out side of Detroit, sometimes I take a look at what he has posted on ADVrider then go search them out":bjd5u7pj]

i'm a working stiff so scouring the country for murals is not in the cards right now. the GSA is a might fine bike but for pure road work the Mighty ST 1300 is better":7i4yzdqo]
Love the gear head. Great stuff, man.
William, you should do a compilation in a thread somewhere - or better yet, create a document that you could link. Heck, it could even be a published work. But for that, I'd say you should do some research, take some time next riding season, put some serious miles on that BMW and scour the country for murals.
It's your life's work, I think. I'd pay for it!
