Put timing belts on today. Got to thinking about direction of rotation. The Gates belts I have, contains no indication of such a thing. anyone know if it makes a difference? Reason I ask is, the service manual shows belts with direction arrow. Probably meaningless unless the belt has a direction arrow.

If there's no direction arrow then it doesn't matter. Good question though.

Agreed...there is no specific direction on them.
