If you mean replacement bulbs I'm pretty sure they are 1157 bulbs that can be found at any parts store.

I have read some posts here about different LED headlight bulbs and am still in the dark, so to speak. What is a good LED headlight bulb for a 1200 that would be brighter than the stock bulb, draw less, and also work on low and high beam? Yes, I too would like to be seen more in the day but also see better myself at night since I do a fair bit of riding after the sun goes down and before it comes up. Ah, yes, the night shift 12 hour blues are crying. :fiddle:

All the LED replacement headlight bulbs are too expensive for me atm. I am happy to use 35w HID bulbs with ballasts. I would recommend the $16 kits over my u beaut $7 kits in Steves 82 and the Rats Nest. The dearer kit gets its power from the battery and the bike wiring then only uses low switching current (200ma? Or less)

Some of the members had a thread about LED Halogen replacemnt H4`s and said they were going to order them then the thread just stopped with no other comments. I suppose they were junk.
There are an actual complete LED headlamp made by Truck-Lite that is a couple few hundred.
There is also the HID wich Ansimp referes to and seems popular with good feedback.
The HID is a single bulb so no high/low beam unless you go with Bi-Xenon wich is a single bulb with a powered visor that shades part of the bulb for low beam then opens up fully for high. It is still a single(higher power) so it is brighter then the standard HID and there is no power savings with Bi-Xenon over the standard Halogen bulb like there is with the standard HID.
As far as comments go the 6K HID seems to be the most popular, there is one that is between 5-6K I`m thinking it was a 5.6K that seems to look more natual to the H4`s white light.

That was a thread I started about $1 LED headlight bulbs from China.
Yes they were complete junk. One even blew the headlight fuse when switching to high.
The other has high and low reversed, Lol. Real dim too.
