Still a bit woozy but I'm okay. Funny How riding the bike seemed to cancel out the dizzy feeling. Or transformed it to a perception issue. I never guessed it could affect me or anyone in this way. Which is why I gave my warning report.
:thanks: For the kind wishes.

Here's praying you don't get the problems I have with heat after a major heat stroke event when I was younger. I was working in a factory and the air conditioning had been out for 2 days and since we worked the graveyard shift management decided we could work. This was August in the Missouri Ozarks. The second night I lasted 3 hours before I passed out at my machine. I woke up in ER getting fluids. Since that day, 30 years ago, I have problems when the temp gets about 85 and above. I have ended up in ER several times since then with dehydration even though I drink a lot of water. Seems like heat stroke changed my DNA or something and I just can't tolerate it anymore. I've been wearing a Polar Cooling vest this summer and while pretty bulky it seems to help somewhat.

When we were living in the north western desert here in Oz, salt tablets were the norm as well as plenty of water.

On days where I don't wear the cool vest I still use the gel neck wrap that I keep in a baggie with water in the fridge. Cooling the carotid arteries is one of the benefits, reducing the risk of heat exhaustion/stroke. There is really hot weather all over the country and this $10 piece of equipment makes dealing with that heat easier and safer.

 Holy MOLY V! :heat:
Gotta be careful in this kind of heat. 103 here today. I know what you mean tho...I've been stuck in traffic in bright sunlight on the bike before...thought I was gunna go down several times from passing out. Just had to pull off and cool down. I carry a water bottle with ice, and a "mister" that sprays cold water on me as I ride, and a neck cooler. Certainly helps, but not much good after the fact.
Stay cool, my friend!

Does your mister sit on the handlebars and what's his name? :hihihi:

While we're on the subject of heat please everyone stay very hydrated. Close call for me today. After 8 hours of sweating profusely. I left work for the ride home. About a mile and a half from the house I thought there was something wrong with the bike. It just wouldn't track the line I chose. I stopped to look at the bike and it was fine. It was me. I was so dizzy I struggled to put the stand down. Long story short I went to the emergency room. Heat exhaustion was the verdict. Doc says stay home a few days. :heat:
Missed this post, glad you're OK..I`ll keep an eye on myself..maybe have to ride with some water.
