good evening from san diego.
purchased a 1978 1000 about a year ago to find it had major motor issues. found a steal of a deal on a 1200 motor which has been shoehorned into the 78 frame. the donor motor is a 85 (if i remember right) and i have MOST of the electrical to make it work. with the 1000 carbs being trashed, you will find me spending most of my time in the single carb conversion forum for the mean time. :head bang:
