The bike is an 82 Aspencade. I've had to do some work on the wiring harness and I found one that is crushed. It's the 4pin at the 30amp Main fuse near the battery.
1 is a yellow with red
1 is a green with red
1 is a red
1 is a red with white
Can someone tell me the order of assembly these colors go in my new connector?
Thanks.

Tex

90% of the time both sides of the connector have the same wiring color codes. I'd connect each wire to same colored wire in the other connector.

What he said. We also have a color wiring diagram here.

Thank you gentlemen for your reply.I do have a color wiring diagram. I do know that over 90% of the time the wires are the same color on the other side of the connector. And I have resolved my issue. You are possibly unaware of this specific location since there are NO wires on the other side.

Correct I was - still am unaware of exactly which connector you speak of and I do not own an 82 to look at. I am however happy to know the issue is resolved.

I missed this thread somehow.

That connector is the one that plugs into the start solenoid. 2 wires for the start solenoid circuit, 2 are the + to the wire harness.
:good:
