It looks like I never posted how I installed an alternator on mine so I'm posting the pictures first then I'll enter the text later.

lower radiator hose fitting and conduit clamp test fit

A 1" conduit clamp fits nicely on the frame.

A 1" conduit clamp in place of the old threaded studs which I cut off the frame.

In order to move the radiator filler to the front I drilled a hole in the top tank.

I have close to 10,000 miles on this alternator and radiator...

what vehicle did you source the alternator from?

was going to use an alternator off of a 93 Geo Metro

Mine is a Nippendenso 45 amp.
Most any alternator shop will know what your asking for.

ones at nappa undere geo metro show 50 amp nippendenso or mitsubishi if I remember.

My old Dodge Raider had a 60 amp alt, and IIRC the dodge minivan of the era had the same one
