how many miles

after reading one of tory's replys i decided to ask how many miles have you put on your wing sofar this year? i started this year with 49,600 miles on the 1500 wing and have 54,511 miles showing now for 4911 miles, time for an oil change. i started the year on the 1200 with 45,000 miles showing and its now showing 51,758 for 6758 miles ( time for an oil change on this one also ) and a total of 11669 miles as of today

we both know that some members here have done way more than 11,000 miles joe. i wanted to do more but my hands are tied for two more years then i can plan a ride longer than 383 miles ( my longest ride this year )

My daily commute adds a little over 300 miles a week on mine during riding season. I think my average since I've had this '81 has been around 6000 per year. :mrgreen:

I didn't do so good

When my son was interested in going with me we did 300 every weekend.
Now he's into the X-Box every waking moment of his life.

This next season my 7 year old should reach the pegs better. She's very anxious to go with Daddy, then we'll get more miles on.

Between the two bike's I would guess over 10,000 miles. I don't really keep close track on totals. Three oil changes on the wing this year, Two on the GS750, so far a lot of riding. Still riding not quite finished yet LOL
