That's kinda cool me thinks.

I love all the techy stuff.
For awhile it got to be like a drug addiction having to have the latest and greatest.
Guess I sorta grew out of that thank goodness but I still like the gadgets.

I've seen them advertised....I gotta wonder how it works if your fat fingers are in front of the projector...how does it show the letters on the lower row of the keyboard? :laptop:

I believe it uses a close field detection where their fingers are detected by a couple of detectors...and extrapolated to determine which letters you are typing.. not sure exactly how it fires it but understand the principle behind it...

There are some cases/stands for IPhone and IPad that have been out for a few years with that virtual keyboard. Like all neat ideas battery power becomes the issue for both devices.

I thought a Bluetooth wireless keyboard for my Kindle was cool... typing a long message reply on those on-screen keyboards is such a pain!

That is taking keyboards to the next level.

I just bough our first cordless telephone for our house phone this week! :clapping: (We are jumping right on that new technology around here!)

It is soooo cool! Now I can walk around the house without being leashed to a wall phone! :smilie_happy:

Last year at this time I may not have thought much about this post, but now that I have met you... I don't doubt it. :smilie_happy:

I seen one of those at a tech show, It had the screen projector beaming out the other side, It actually was a complete computer a little larger then that keyboard device.
I thought answering machines were cool.

I like it....i want one too...i've been trying to stay up somewhat in the world on these new fancy whatchamacallit....after using the computer with the dail up...we all time to go and do whatever until it connected... :smilie_happy: now my computer is so slow, i had to just walk away the other day... :Awe:

That is cool, I also like the high tech stuff. I recently purchased the Dragon voice recognition software for my computer at home. It is amazing how accurate it is. It took a little time to get it use to my voice but it is now incredibly accurate and fast.

I read in one of my computer magazines that some feel the keyboard will be a thing of the past in a few years and most input will be via voice commands.

I think that's the way things seem to be going...

I'm with you, Brian......Gerry is a 'bit' slow to get on the technology train.....LMAO
What are you guys talking about??? :whip:

I am up on my tech stuff........as a matter of fact, I even got a TV with a remote now!! :cheeky: :smilie_happy:

(BTW....not sure who is up on what, but I do have to remind you that you are both riding on 35+ year old technology with these old bikes! :smilie_happy: )

Voice commands are not always reliable....

:smilie_happy:

I'm a bit behind too Gerry. My car is older even than most of the bikes here. My phones are for conversation calls. I don't like talking enough to talk to my dogs let alone the computer. But it's all good. My age and birth year are the same this year. Say this aloud to your voice computer. Format C yes enter! :smilie_happy:
