interchangeable rims

80 rims front and back will interchange with an 83?

No. The '80-'81 rims are larger than the '83 rims.

If you need new wheels for an '83, have you checked the alloy wheels from the Interstate model?

Wes, I should also add that the brake calipers and rotors are different between those 1100's. '80-'81 was single pistion calipers and '82-'83 are dual piston calipers. The mounts and rotors are different.

Thank You. I am aware the brakes are very different.
I picked up an 80 wing from Chicago this past Monday.
I have parts for it. AND I have a lot of parts for 83.

Aren't the '83 and '82 calipers different as well, at least in the front? I thought the '83 had the anti-dive forks which makes things weirder, and I want to say the '83 has different torque values for the bolts.

Yes They are different.

83 had linked front and back brake.
The masters have a bigger piston I believe.
