Check with Ranakk. I here his rebuild kits are great. Most people that I have heard that used his kit, did it once, and away they went with no more problems.

Certainly could do a single carb for much less money but it's really not true about the carb rebuilds, they can be brought back to original condition. Might take a few times pulling them but if done right they'll run top notch.

Steve have you adjusted the valves. The clearance is so close. Metal expands with heat and you may have a valve hanging open once it warms up.

Try riding it with the fuel cap..lose..it may be causing a vacuum if the cap vents are clogged which the pump can't pull against very well.

the same thing happened to me when i went from 75 carbs to 81 carbs. i did something weird and it sounds crazy, but i went to iriduim spark plugs and i haven't had any problems as of yet in fact it has run better than i throught it could. that is not to say it would help you i can only say it helped me
