When I mention how high the water has gotten before, I meant the rooster-tail from the water hitting the awning posts.

I didn't know how bad it was going to get so I put the bike next to that car. Our neighbor had told us there was some flooding nearby.

we had a chapter meeting on a afternoon it hailed. the bike was covered and since the weather was nasty we drove my truck...
had a great meal (chinese) and a good meeting. totally missed the weather outside.
a few days later I was out working on something and noticed alot of bumps in the wifes buick!
I almost flipped... then I got to thinking about that nasty thunderstorm... yup, the bike was right next to the car...
seriously the car is bumps everywhere.. not a scratch on the bike... :D

I ride mine 8 miles to work every day. I carry rain gear but have only worn it once. If you're moving the fairing and lowers keep you dry. Only get wet at traffic lights. I kinda enjoy riding in the rain.
