I use .004 and .005 and my valves are quiet as a mouse.
I just finished doing mine a few minutes ago - my, my are they quiet! (I think the lash musta been more than 10 thou......)

Yes and no! :headscratch:

The point about the valves needing to be addressed was because of the concern the bike has the pulling power for a camper/trailer. With the valves adjusted, the bike should be able to pull even stronger. (We noticed at the Meet that his valves may have needed an adjustment but we were too busy to get to them!)
 
All that beer drinking get in the way of maintenance, I explained to Kim yesterday the only way to clean a bike properly is to drink beer at the same time
I did notice a few spots that we missed on the 82 while I was at Steve's house tonight getting the starter fixed :salute:
