Lots of different topics to discuss or cuss here. We can bounce from subject to subject and still be on topic. Since no one can get through a day without seeing or hearing a commercial about this or that drug or a bad drug or a lawsuit because of a drug we can start there.
We are all supposed to talk to our doctor before attempting this or that. Is it safe to have sex? Tell your doctor you need this or that medication. More people die in their doctors care every year than die from guns. But there is a big push to ban guns. No call I've heard to ban doctors. Not saying they don't have a place or purpose but they will never no you like you do. The old family doctor of a hundred years ago knew the whole family and probably helped deliver most of it. He wasn't called because ya got a scratch or hurt yourself. He was called if you really needed him.
Has anyone noticed the celebrity folks that are over a hundred years old never see doctors? I will go if need arises but I don't even know who my doctor is anymore.
If doctors and health insurance are so vital as we are led to believe then how in the world did man survive all those thousands of years before? This just doesn't make sense.
Can anyone name one drug that isn't an antibiotic that actually cures anything? :hihihi:

I hate the commercials about some drug to help a skin problem and such.
The possible side effects are nasty. Stroke, death, may cause cancer, etc, gees.

I only go to the doctor when absolutely needed.
The last time was appendicitis about 30 years ago.

I ain't goin to a Dr. unless I'm on my deathbed. Last time I went was last summer when I ripped a ligament/muscle in me belly, and only because there was so much pain I could barely breath, or move.
What gets me is that most of the new drugs/medications out now carry more evil side-effects than the ailment you're trying to cure. What the hell? If I got a headache, or my wiener don't work, and the medication for either "could cause death", then I'll just have a headache and a wilty wiener.....I can live with that..... :blush:

Joe the country has separation from church and state, that is why there is no "Church of America" like the "Church of England" people misunderstand that all the time. I repeat racism will not be tolerated. So...are we going to go "there?" And BTW, wouldn't stand for someone calling you a "redneck" whether you cared or not.

See that's the thing, some people let religion spill over to race and that just isn't right.
I believe if a guy dislikes a race or religion then what's the point of even going there.
My experience even while keeping a discussion like this light, it leads to upsets and not worth it.

no i think V meant a lot more than doctor visit .....and we should eat all stupidity and really hash out the times were all in so we can get well rounded opinions without discounting or taking it where is was never at

there are some of us that have never met ..but i am rather sure there isnt a real racist among us... we all come from different backgrounds and could all be enlighten by others here cause we allowed it to happen

Okay back to the all knowing doctors. I repeat. Does anyone know of any drug that actually cures anything? If doctors were firemen they'd be trying to contain the smoke and ignore the fire. 200 years ago cancer and a host of other illnesses were unheard of. Today we all know of someone who died of cancer or maybe has it now.
Our kids are medicated for ADD or ADHD for what? Because they are energetic inquisitive kids. Grandpa had a cure for it. A swift boot in the rear got every kids attention.
