oh boy ..this is big deal ... i am a parent .. have been charge with neglect against my children ...cause i wouldnt let my son be put on ridlin as demanded by the school ...so i fired the school in there office and took my son home ...got arrested ...

long story short my son stayed off ridlin even after court order that he take it ....i got through it ...

these are the things that should not be going on in america....

The only pill I've ever taken that actually cured an illness would be an antibiotic. I do take diuretics to control my congestive heart failure, but that's all they do - control it. I'm thankful for them, as I was close to death without them.

With the billions spent on research, equipment, and hospitals, not to mention the tens of thousands making serious money dealing with them, I wonder if there will never be a cure for these major diseases. With so many "charities" and fundraisers, and with the technology that exists, most diseases should have been wiped out by now. JMHO...

let me add ... after watching my wife on continuos meds for yrs....there was no way it was going down to my children with my approval ...i had first hand experience with this kind of treatment ... in my lowly evaluation ....of this treatment...it was totally worthless and made things much worse for her ....hard drugs are hard drugs ...legal or not ...not push on my son who had no choice of his own because of age....to me this is child abuse

And why are they not cured? Simple. They'd be out of business. The gravy train would slow to a crawl caring for the injured only.

Just skimmed through this,, I agree,, the whole doctor (ins.) thing is overrated to me.. had to see a doc once last winter,, went to one of these ? urgent care ? ,, you walk in,, I had no wait time,, as soon as I had a lil paperwork filled, I was in,, 5min at the most.. they charged me like,, ? 60 bucks.. the script was as much as the visit.. waaaay to much fuss about ins.

Which brings in another non sense topic really. Insurance in all it's forms. All insurance has done is raised the cost of things and absolved people of personal responsibility. When people had to pay for things as needed the prices were kept in line with what could be reasonably expected. And people didn't run up expenses expecting others to cover the bills.
Now we have guaranteed health insurance for all americans! Call to see if you qualify!???? :shock: :smilie_happy: :swoon:

I have to agree, No cures other then antibiotics, then there is vaccines..those are pretty neat but viruses morph at such a rapid rate it needs constant monitoring to stay ahead of the virus , There are thing out there doing their best to kill us.
Cant believe how many are sucked into the drug market, people walking around out there all doped up with prescribed medicine as well illicit drugs..cant see a way to stop it, healthcare and drugs are a big business and have big money to get their way.
Beginning of the end I think, happy to have been a part of the last of the good times but watching the decline is tough when few listen.
Need to stop lobbying and reform campaign contributions..That would be a big start.

I caught a bit of the Dr. Phil show today. Woman there with multi personality disorder (supposedly). Why do psychiatrists have to name certain human traits and call them disorders? I never met or heard of any woman that had only one personality. Think you have one tell her about a girlfriend. Then there's bi polar disorder. Who hasn't woke up angry and later smiled or vice versa. In children this happens many times a day. The slightest difficulty can get them screaming and the first cookie all is fine. When adults behave this way it's bi polar disorder. Hmmm seems to me it just a total lack of maturity.

ADD, ADHD, PMS...all good excuses to be a pain in the ass! I'm not saying there aren't legit cases out there, but most kids get unhappy when they don't get their way, and unless it's handled when they're young, they become adults who always want their way. Doctors, shrinks and big pharma are making fortunes off these, and there will never be a cure. I have a feeling there will also never be cures for MS, MD, cancer, or heart disease as long as the giant medical research and treatment centers, and so-called "charities" are making billions. I really hope I'm wrong...

the medical proffession are nothing but drug dealers ...and are simply harming all people that use them ... id say 80% of all doctor pushed drugs create more harm than good .....if its about money ..thats what its about...not health or cures for nonexistent problems ...talkyou into to being sick and create there paycheck ...i personally have nothing for this system and will never pay a penny to support it ever ...i dont care how many unamerican laws get passed

Well don't give up, November is coming soon and I am fired up about this years vote, all the way down to the proposition, judges I don't know what to think but the voting guide I found pretty accurate and helpful, just jot down a cheat sheet and take it with you to the polls...Even if you think your on the losing side,vote anyways, The winner will know just what a slim margin he was elected and will base his or her decisions on it(Hopefully), well maybe not all but the smart ones will.
I don't care, I go down there and it feels good..More should do it.

If more people would simply excercise what freedoms they already have, I believe the world would be a better place, or at least those that do get involved will feel better about it having gotten involved and tried to make it better.
