Trying to fine a small plug that goes in the end of one of the tubes that
the back luggage rack sits on. (see pics)
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks :thanks:

The chrome plug is a pressed in fit and will pop right out.
Have you tried the home centers and hardware stores? Seems like I've seen something similar.
Exact diameter might be a problem.

I did try the home center, and that was the problem I ran it to was the size.
We have a bolt and nut house her in town and I might
take the other one over and see what they might have.
It is an odd size that I have run into so far.

check the section that has chair leg sliders. You may find nylon or chrome plugs there that fit or can be trimmed to fit. Some auto parts stores carry such plugs to fill holes where switches have been.

Both good Ideas slabghost. I'll give both a shot.
Can't hurt, might find something else I need.

I found the plugs I have. If the pipes are close to 5/8" outside diameter they'll fit. PM me your address and I'll send them out.

pardon the "off topic" GILLT although I'm still talking parts you need  What are you going to do for saddlebags? Are you looking for OEM, aftermarket, soft?
