LTD rectifier wiring

It was originally bundled with the 2 reds to the positive post and not getting over 13.1-2. According to the schematic, the sense wire goe to the blk/grn which Checked hot with the voltage light, but didn't help much, which is why I found another 12 volt wire. It did manage to rise up a little bit more but not enough. I checked all my soldered connections and as many grounds as I could see. Something is heating up or the stator is puting out strong, then degrades.
Maybe another R/R, like the Shindengen:

Do not spend the money on the shindengen r/r until you have checked the stator correctly. I would not spend the money on this r/r I would rather purchase a Mofset type r/r for less money..

I won't cut the plug. I will crimp on connectors on the wires on the other side of the plug for checking it out sake. That way, the R/R is still useable and re-sellable, or keepable.
