it Will be interesting this year ...now that I’m in Indiana for the winter how hooch dose with no heat set up .....hopefully I’ll have time to investigate and test hooch a lot this winter...

I think you will find that even a small volume of coolant flow will be enough to keep your manifold nice and warm. I found that at full, unrestricted, coolant flow my manifold was almost too hot to touch, with the engine running. So I put a valve on the return line which I use to restrict the flow. Just a small valve opening is enough to keep the manifold warm.

You've been running the single carb for a couple of years now...why do you want to heat the manifold? Also, you are using the location for the fan switch for your coolant feed...how are you going to control the fan? :headscratch:

how hard is it to setup a 5200 vs the 740?? 740 is pretty easy. lookin for sumpin a lil bigger.......update on the heated 740

Hmmmmmmmm ....I wish I could help ..I had several carbs I had gathered to try ..but lost them all ...and most of my bikes but one ....
