I have been pushing Ruth for at least a half a year now to upgrade her 2010 Diesel Forester. I had test driven a Diesel CVT Forester and I was blown away by how well the CVT worked with the Diesel. I couldn't drive it smoother in manual mode using the paddle shifters as it upshifts way quicker than I wanted to by itself. I was also amazed by how quiet the car was in comparison to her old one even though they have the same engines. I finally got her to take a test drive in a Diesel Outback as there weren't any Diesel Foresters available at the time. Well we almost did a deal on a white one then and there but she wasn't too happy with our dirt driveway and how it would look on a new white car. We headed in to City Subaru which is a pain from our house but the Forman in the workshop is the legend that helped me sort out Ruth’s Forester when we got it. It turns out that there was a Tungsten coloured one in Townsville (1300 Kim's away) which we could have even though we hadn't seen the colour in the flesh.
Turns out that the colour is perfect as it doesn't show the dust and RUTH loves it. :good:
