Welcome to the forums.

I'd like more details on the mufflers, what they are from, how it sounds, and what you had to do to mount them.
They look great!

The muffler is stock 1981, I used a fine took hacksaw to cut the pipes just before the extension tip. I was worried about fuel air mixture after but there is still the main muffler attached. The tip must have been a extra attachment to really make the wing quiet. It sounds awesome like a four-into-one header from a cb or gs 1100. I don't know if I gained power but the bike will wheelie in first. I left the mufflers on when I cut off the tips.
Did you save the tips by chance?? I would be interested in buying them! (With the baffles inside them)

You can have them. They look in good shape.

The tips were stock, here are some pics close-up. Also a pic of the 79 gl 1000, they look similar but I don't like the heat shield on the 79.
