I would take the carbs apart and see what you need first.
I'm currently working on a GL1100 carbs refresh/rehab tutorial.
The goal is bring them back to life for little or no money but if the cutoff diaphrams are toast they will set you back a few bucks.
Parts and more has them along with seals, needle/seats, etc.
