Located in Western New York. First year back on two wheels. Have about 1k under my butt his spring. Goldy now in the garage waiting for me to get smart enough to install new fork bushings and seals. Will be reading and learning from all.
I love my Goldwing!

Sweet ride! :good:

Nice Ride ! looks like your a couple hours away we should get a few guys together one day this summer and go for a spin !

Will try to get some pics as I disassemble and reassemble, but am up to my eyebrows in questions about what parts should be replaced, etc. Have never even dreamed of having a set of forks apart before this so am going slowly and trying to make all the right moves. I have been known to be a little impulsive and have caused myself a few problems because of that in the last 60+ years......yea I know nobody else has ever had that problem or done that....wish me luck!

Have been on line most of a damp afternoon looking for pieces. Now have parts cuts out the wazoo and fuzzy little pictures of neat things to identify. Progressive springs on their way, leaving shortly for a buddies shop to pick up a stout set of snap ring pliers and then to another pals' home to beg for assistance. He has redone his front and rear suspension successfully and turns wrenches for a living.......besides that he is younger and a lot stouter than this old coot.I think he is my newest model spring compressor! Wish me luck!
