Hi, I'm Gary from Gettysburg pa. I picked up a 1982 gl1100 interstate that had been sitting 6 years, the only thing that was a problem was the carburetors, I was lucky enough to find a HOLLEY single carb. conversion on E-bay for 132.00 it now runs great.. I also made a "tow-pac" type removable trike , if anyone is interested in seeing the "work in progress" I would be happy to post it...I have lots of pics. and drawings.. I have put about 400 miles on it, and it handles great, doesn't pull to either side, even in a 25mph cross wind... This is My first Goldwing, for the past 32 years I was a Harley man, now that I'm older and have bad knees, The Goldwing is very Gentle to me.....the best ride I've owned..

nice ...welcome to classic ....thats what we do here ...hash over projects and stuff ...im totaly interested in the full story ...82 1100 is a nice machine..
