hi my name is jim. Im very new to the forum. I have an 83 honda gold wing gl1100. very hard to fin some parts. right now I'm looking for rear master cyclinder for it. not rebuild. has to be 83, no other seem to fit, even the 82 it calls for.

Welcome to the forum, seems some have adapted the 1500 M/C to the 83. Might want to look into it.

Welcome to the fun. A good many one year parts on both the 83 and 84.

Unfortunately the 83 master cylinder is not available new and fyi, the smaller capacity earlier year MC will not work on the linked front and rear brakes, I tried it. It doesn't supply enough volume.
The 1800 MC are plentiful and work beautifully.
Modding a mount is a bit tricky and I had to have a new brake line with a banjo end made.
