Am I a glutton for punishment or blessed?( time will tell) I acquired another 83 1100. This one is an Aspencade so some differences. Wanna go thru it and do belts, carbs and such but until I get a floor put in motorcycle barn i have to put new front tire on Bella and transfer voyager from trixie to Bella so other half can ride.
Those are easy jobs but then I have to fix the starter clutch in Trixie. Got a spare 1100 motor with Acadia and it will be my practice run on the starter clutch.
I did not like the ride home on Acadia. Took half a tank to go 38 miles, but for a grand for bike and extra motor I can not complain. Now I truly have 3 83 wings. So stable IS FULL with 3 1100's, 2 500;s, and a 400. Grandson is 3 so that gives me 15 years till he graduates and maybe I will have scat running for him then. Old school, single thumper, kick start chopper.
