Noobie from Texas

I've been hanging around here for a couple of months and finally decided to join the fun. Although I ride a GL1800 (2003) I used to own a late '70s model Wing. Didn't keep it very long. Probably should have my head examined for letting it go. Would have been a nice project bike to restore to original. Mechanics is not my strong suit though. Changing oil and washing the bike is about as far as I get. Although I did take mine down to the starter and had it rebuilt and reinstalled it on my own. (Too cheap to let the stealership do it. I had a ride coming up shortly and didn't want to miss it.) Everything went well and now I'm a little over 118k on my wing.
I have a good friend on here who has several vintage Wings he has fixed up. Howdy, Houndhead!!!
Looking forward to some good times and good rides this year.
