the Po claimed the first owner put a clock in the right side face panel and cracked the fairing. He put a piece of sheet stainless over the panel and around the corner towards the tank all the way up to the vent. He also folded a piece around the bottom where it bolts onto the lower fairing mounts. he attached the stainless with rivets. When I ran into him last year on a charity ride he noticed that the crack along the bottom (in the middle of the bump out below the vents) had walked forward a little farther. I was noticing more movement in the fairing itself as a whole this spring so last week I bought one off E-Bay from California. The sad part is that when I was changing it out I found out that the main mounting bolt(10mm) in the front on the left side was broken. Thus the reason I was seeing so much more movement as there was no support on the left side allowing the right side crack to open more. Bummer dude. I do have all the pieces though that go in the bottom. if someone wanted to ABS weld it back together.
