Seems as though Speedco has challenged Randakk to a Pink-Slip fest.. which could be really dumb at best. :swoon:

Randakk's response to this on the NGW forum:

Essentially he has challenged me to a race. My Supercharged RC-003 against his DOHC creation “title-for-title” + $10,000.

Steve issued this “challenge” just as I was going on a long vacation. When I returned from vacation, I had to spend a great deal of time solving sourcing problems with some Japanese suppliers in the aftermath of the disaster there. Customers always come first here.

Anyway, I was finally able to focus on Steve’s challenge this week. I’ve just sent Steve Scott an email indicating that I will accept the challenge!

I asked his preference on one item: which Forum does he prefer that we use to “document” the challenge. As soon as he gets back to me on that, I’ll let you know where to follow-along.

I have access to film crew resources and a magazine editor has already expressed interest in covering this event. Should be great fun!

these guys have been going at forever ...its all silly to me ....i like them both ....randall is more a purest and steve is more whatever type ....they both love goldwings and the squables and such are entertaining ......a friendly comparising of bikes would be fine ....but the rediculous guidelines are just stupid to do to such well worked on bikes ...that are just going to get trashed....or severly compromised...randalls bike is a gem im assuming steve is to ive never seen it ....but to do something like this to irreplacable top knoch wings ......i dont know ...not somthing i would do to somthing i work so hard on.... :shock: :mrgreen: ....thers realy nothig to prove here except for ..... oh2: :doh: :swoon: :ahem:

Well, so far, Steve is talking smack with nothing to back it up other than smoke and mirrors. No one has seen anything of his bike, only his manifold project. The project is not a new idea, just a revisited one. Those manifolds were produced back in the 80s and were not world-beaters by any stretch of the imagination. There's only so much you can do with a 2-barrel carburetor. The remainder of power gains lay elsewhere.

Where is this ficticious cylinder head? In Roswell?

you don't have to out run them you just have to out last them. if your in the race just hope both of them break down . 4 valve wing heads sounds like a buisness plan to go out of buisness. now if he would make some cams and related hardware he might sell a few

Well, Steve blew a gasket on Randakk's Facebook page and showed his true, and very strange, colors. The guy has nothing of substance, and has been called out to show his stuff by the population of several different forums without success. His small business will surely suffer from this boondoggle.

I don't use Facebook at all and alls I see on his page is the one paragraph with the initial challenge.
