Last week was not a happy one fer me...Sunday evening I had a pain in my right side abdomen area. Dint think much aboot it...just figured it was somethin I et. Monday comes, it's a little worse...by Wednesday, I was in so much pain I couldn't take it no mo. I took off early frum werk. Thursday to the Doc. His best edjumacated guess was that I had pulled something in the abdominal wall.
A little history...back in '85, I had a really bad car wreck. A '75 Toyota goin against a loaded down 3/4 ton Chevy PU(t-boned right in the center of the front axle of the truck)....I lost. Did a LOT of internal damage, but I survived(obviously). Fast forward to the present...all of the previous internal damage made a sonogram useless...so I simply had to take a break and be immobile....and take lottsa ibuprofen, heat wraps, and stay still. So, today, it's not so bad...still plenty sore, but not in severe pain.
So....what caused this massive pain? I dunno....but Imma guessing it had to do with poppin the 'Wing up on the center stand. There's been a couple of times lately I've had a hard time gettin it up on center. Now I gotta find a way to get that done without poppin a cork. Guess I need to have a chunk of wood to ride up on, so the rear will be a little higher to start with. The rear shocks have air in them, but I might blow a little more in to raise it up a little more...as long as it doesn't make it ride too harsh. Doubt I'll be gettin back on 2 wheels for a few more days yet....
Anyway...just a caution for us older folks...BE CAREFUL!!!!
