I turned off the Democratic debates, closed out Trump’s State of the Union address, and went outside to stare at the night sky. I asked, “Am I the only intelligent being on this planet?” and I heard “Who said you were intelligent?” I didn’t know my wife was listening.

Money-making idea: Sell pieces of shredded paper for $100 each by advertising the pieces as the remains of Nancy’s copy of the State of the Union address.?

What happens to Democratic presidential candidates after the 2020 election is over? They all go back to their previous jobs.

Pete is gay; Sanders is a Socialist; Warren is another Nancy; 2020 is Biden’s last chance. What more could you want in your candidates? Some sanity, perhaps?

It’s funny ...actually ..I’m amazed how our government is anything but a government...it’s like a insane society that has taken Over ....and normal people are punished ...as Tom describes if one is a normal natural human being your absolutely not running for President or any other position in government ...you have to ...gay Lesbian...child molester ...murderer...a Satanist ...and all the things that make humanity the most ignorant life form on the planet to qualify for government...and if your anything close to normal you will hounded persecuted with the full force of the insane government...in this environment the people there suppose to serve are only served with less rights and control and pounded for being morally sound and illegals and immigrates treated much better than citizens there under oath to serve better than all others ..I’d say this covers just a small proportion of the insanity government of America that’s no government at all ...LOL

I’d say I’ve been very nice in this post ..under the covers ...it’s nothing short of never been worse in all history dark evil killers of the the innocent ...why cause the ability we gain always go to the insane agenda first ...As I sit it’s Trump for me ..I like him he is a lot like me will say what he thinks and lack manners ....yep that’s my president

Well, as an observer from the other side of the planet, i will tell you this.
seem to me that the dems are driven by desperation... to remove that orange buffoon at any cost. the
real worry is this.... are those candidates really the best america can do ?
trump is corrupt and has not one speck of common decency.
i see why people like him. but people also like reality tv and justin beiber. doesnt make it good.
i see clips on youtube etc from both side of the fence, but i can no longer watch fox news. even if you discounted 90 percent of all trump is accused of, the remaining 10 is enough reason to vote for the
"land rights for gay whales " party.
your country needs to wake up, big time. ( in my opinion ) :wave:

Trump IS the waking up. He has a lot to turn around and fix from the last presidents that fucked things up. It is highly unlikely any democrat president could do what he's done. It's the democrats that are fucked up.

Yes assie I know down under.never bulked at colonial rule ...our country fought the mangoes and won ..now days like cancer it has taken hold of our country again and the people are going to shut them down totally ...we are the country founded on freedom ..and there no.freedom anywhere till it's in your yard first ...freedom has nothing to do with what others in the world think ..make your country what you want ..i simply don't care and none of my Buzz iness

it is true that aussies never fought a war with britain to gain independence. didnt have to.
the creation of the states and political self rule, came in around 1903.
a constitutional monarchy is not a bad place to be, much like Canada without all the snow. :smilie_happy: we are as free as any country can be.

it was maybe fortunate for our young country that , the wars britain had with the US colonies , the french and russians etc taught them a lesson.

but, back to my point, which is this.
trump is popular.
the dems dont really seem to have a candidate to challenge him .
politics in the US has taken this extremely divisive stance. you are either for trump or against him.
i am now hearing this ridiculous term , nevertrumper. wtf is that ?

i thank the good lord every day i can just watch this sideshow from a distance....
except, you see, what happens in the US ,affects us, even on the other side of the world.
we are forever grateful to the US, saved our arses in WW2. and we are not often allowed to forget it.
which is perhaps why we host telecommunication posts to this day. pine gap ( google it )
and the like. and may be why we have 2000 US marines on rotation in Darwin.

the trade wars trump has started with China etc ? wish it worked both ways.
why can i buy Californian oranges, in the town i live in, for half the price that our growers can sell for ?
